May 2010 High Power Service Rifle Match
        Robert Coffey won the May match with a score of 468-14X.  He won the Prone Rapidfire match with 95-3X.  George Gaskill won the Prone Slowfire match with 193-2X and the Offhand match with 93.  Manuel Martinez won the Sitting Rapidfire amtch with 96-2X.
        The silhouette match this month had five shooters; Ernest Mijares and Manuel Martinez tied with the high overall score of 11 hits.
        Tom Temple again served as Range Safety Officer and called the match.  Thanks again, Tom.
        Next match is June 5 (see the 2010 match schedule) and it is a 50 shot National Match course.  The June auxiliary match will be a 60 shot pistol match, any pistol, any sights.  See our new pistol page for more details.  Shooters who wish to fire the pistol match only should plan to arrive at the range by 10 AM for a pre-match orientation.  We are aiming for a 9:30 AM start time for the match.  See you there.

June 2010 High Power Rifle Match
        Victor Murillo won the June match with a score of 483-13X, winning the Slowfire Prone match with 198-8X, the Prone Rapidfire match with 97-1X and tying the Sitting Rapidfire match with 98-2X.  Robert Coffey tied for the Sitting Rapidfire with 98-2X and won the Offhand match with 95-2X.  Even though new shooter Ken Letwin's rifle was sighted in about two inches right, he still fired a 398; watch out when he is sighted in.
        George Gaskill won the pistol match with a score of 506-2X.
        Weather was comfortable and sunny.  Turnout was eight rifle shooters plus one additional pistol shooter.
        Tom Temple again served as Range Safety Officer and called the rifle match.  John Bottomley set up the pistol targets and called the pistol match.  Thanks again, gentlemen.
